I love the focus on the rose. I feelt like "Q" in "Star Trek the Next Generation" TV show when I saw the rose that inspired me to do the painting. It seemed to be floating in space with a mysterious light deep within the bush, alone and majestic.
This painting is approximately 24 by 20. It was done with oil paints on canvas
